Who would have ever thought there could be a happy marriage between Chinese cuisine and the laws of kashrut? Well such a union has been found and perfected at The Chinese Wall in old Tel Aviv. Opened fourteen years ago by Chinese Jewish oleh, Yakov Yang, from Lanzhou, you will be able to find all of the classics of Chinese cuisine at this unlikely food haven. The noodles are hand-pulled and the Peking duck is an old family recipe. In fact, the entire operation is a family affair with Yang running the restaurant with his brother in law, Rafael Shu.
