I am a big fan of Balkan cuisine, but for some strange reason on the Hungarian side of the borders it is difficult to find decent restaurants with authentic Serbian, Bosnian, etc dishes. Classic on the other hand is one of the few places where the quality is very high and the place would probably stand the comparison in Sarajevo, the world capital of ćevapčići as well. The food was amazing, authentic and plenty. The service quick and welcoming, with English speaking waiters and the restaurant was recently renovated, it is cosy and modern. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit to a Serbian grill and it turned out to be one of our best meals in Hungary. The decor of this restaurant is neutral Hungarian cafe style. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a kebab filled with cheese, a roast aubergine with potato puree and a Shopska salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and the wine was great as well. Happy with the service. We left the classic cafe very happy and a bit drunk. Recommend this 100%.

We ordered a buffet style lunch for a family event for 50 people. The service was fantastic and very flexible. All our requests were met and the food was great. All our guests came to me to tell me how delicious the food was. I recommend the restaurant for everyone big time! Köszönjük Erzsi!

This is an excellent restaurant. Personally for me it’s the best one in Szeged and I’ve been coming to Szeged for years. Centrally located, great outside courtyard. Wether you come alone or with friends you will not be disappointed!
