Toldot’s gastronomic experience metaphorically expands the globe and explores the question, what is Jewish food? It explores Jewish gastronomy through family heritage, traditions and Jewish food legacy. Inspired by the way our mothers and grandmothers have always cooked for us, abundantly and with love, Monica and Eva believe that by sharing a table, we can create a shared experience of our past and celebrate each others individual histories.

Then, climb up onto your camel and enjoy a ride across the sandy terrain consisting of a circular ride through the beautiful desert landscape of the Eilat Mountains Reserve. Learn how to master the rolling gait and enjoy the views from your elevated perch.
After your roughly 1.5 hour ride, return to the camel farm and enjoy a Bedouin tea, made with mint-flavored habak. Sip on the refreshing brew and relax as you chat over your camel ride adventures then sit down to a delicious Bedouin sit-meal. Traditional Bedouin meals usually consist of small plates of food shared between everyone, so expect to dig into tasty dishes such as fluffy Bedouin flatbreads (Bedouin pita made on the spot), labneh cheese, olives and tea brewed from desert plants, unique to Eilat. As you eat, absorb the torchlit setting and desert surroundings – it’s a magical experience!

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the highest summits that span across the Red Sea and four countries – Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
At Netafim Spring, the only spring in the Eilat Mountains, we will explore the local flora and fauna, such as ibex and hyrax who call this region home. Here we will also make a pitstop for Bedouin style tea. Before the group heads back to Eilat, the tour will stop for a photo opportunity with the endless Sinai Mountains behind us.
