On this walking Jewish tour you will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of two of Havana’s main towns: Vedado and Old Havana. In Vedado, town where many emblematic places of Havana are located, such as the Hotel Nacional and the Fabrica de Arte Cubano; you will also find the Beth Shalom Synagogue, the Sephardic Center and the former headquarters of the United Hebrew Congregation, places of Jewish Havana that you will be able to visit. In Old Havana, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982 and home to historical sites such as the Havana Capitol and the former Presidential Palace, you will have the opportunity to visit the Adath Israel Synagogue, the Menorah Park, the Hotel Raquel (decorated in Jewish style in its interior) and the former building that belonged to the Zionist Union of Cuba. During the visits to the synagogues you will also have the opportunity to learn about the current life of the Cuban Jewish community, talk to local leaders and make donations to support different community projects.
