Staying at Hotel Palazzo Stern is like taking a step back in time. The hotel is near Saint Mark’s Square and is surrounded by artistic beauty of the city and filled with decor and art work from all ages. The hotel was built in the 15th century by the Malpaga family and later bought by the Stern Family in the early 20th century, who rebuilt and expanded the building but kept many of the old parts. They added incredible works of art, mosaics, sculptures, and new architectural designs. With a breathtaking city view from the terrace and a relaxing rooftop with a Jacuzzi, the final renovations made Hotel Palazzo Stern a remarkable place to visit.

World Jewish Travel was thrilled at #IMTM 2024 to present a copy of the WJT Jewish Silk Road Pressbook to the CEO of the Azerbaijan National Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid and Jamilya Talibzade its Israeli representative Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).
The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.
