In the heart of Strasbourg, a stone’s throw from the cathedral, the hotel ETTENHEIM welcomes you in a building of character, dating from the 18th century, completely renovated in 2012.
Erected in 1759 to serve as a second residence to Father Abbot of the Ettenheimmunster Benedictine Abbey.
You will find on the front side of the hotel a few architectural elements:
– The miter of a Father Abbot over the entrance door.
– A woman’s face representing piety on the first level, over the middle window.
– Three cobs on the first level, under the middle window.
The building has been classified since 1922 as a historical monument, also known under the name of Ettenheimmunster.
