Welcome to the Baronita restaurant run by chef Ayelet Zioni! Baronita is an intimate and hidden gem next to the sidewalk of Zichron Yaacov, offering a varied Israeli menu, both rich and surprising. Chef Ayelet is passionate about people, hospitality, and food, cooking new versions of the recipes she grew up on. The cuisine is influenced by her Yemenite mother, as well as the current trends of healthy, fresh and seasonal raw food.
Ayelet has a musical and artistic background (she directed the band “Gaia” and co-wrote the song “Together”) and after years in the musical field she decided to make a change and dedicate herself to the love of hospitality and cooking that has always accompanied her.
She believes in simplicity, balance and precision – and this is evident in the design, the food and unique culinary combinations!
