How to register my business (restaurant, tour, hotel, etc.) with WJT?

Adding your business to the WJT website is easy, but first requires registration to the website. Don't worry, the registration process is simple and free! Once you are registered and logged into your account, you can either add your business directly from the drop down under your profile image (avatar) or from your personalized dashboard. You choose to add a new listing and follow the series of steps to add all of the details about your business. You will be able to add your website and social media accounts, contact information, a summary, and photos! Once you submit your listing, it will be approved shortly by the WJT team.

How do I donate?

Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters and partners, we are able to share and support Jewish heritage around the world. Under the heading "About", you can find a donation tab which directs you to our user-friendly donation page. All donations are appreciated and directly support our continuing efforts to keep Jewish heritage alive.

How do I contribute a blog to WJT?

Blogs can be easily added through your WJT account either directly from the drop down under your profile image (avatar) or from your personalized dashboard. Once you choose to add a new listing you will be able to choose to add a blog from the list of different listings. The upload process is simple and allows you to add your blog and images at once. Once you submit your blog, it will be approved shortly by the WJT team. Don't forget to add a bibliography to your profile so that users can learn more about you and access more of your blogs!

How do I add my organization's event?

Events can be easily added through your WJT account either directly from the drop down under your profile image (avatar) or from your personalized dashboard. Once you choose to add a new listing you will be able to choose an event from the list of different listing types. The upload process is simple and allows you to add images, website links, contact info, and a summary about your event. After you submit your event, it will be approved shortly by the WJT team.

How can I get my business or content to appear on the homepage?

To advertise on the WJT homepage, you can message our team directly at [email protected]

I'm having trouble logging into my account.

If you forget your password, you always have the option to reset it. You can find this directly on the login page where it says "forgot password?" You will receive an email with a temporary password that will allow you to login and change or reset your password.

Who can register to WJT?

Whether you are planning a cultural trip, looking to promote your business or content, or simply interested in learning more about Jewish history and culture around the world, you will find your place in the WJT community. Registering as a general user gives you full access to our website, allowing you to download eBooks from our library and view all city maps. You will also have the option to become a service or content provider by adding your own Jewish events, sites, restaurants, eBooks, blogs, tours, and tour guide services to the WJT website.

What is the difference between a service partner and a content partner?

We have two different types of partners. It is possible to be both a service and content partner. Service partners contribute restaurants, tours, guides, and hotels Content partners contribute blogs, events, sites, and eBooks.

Can my organization's Jewish eBook be added to the WJT eBook library?

eBooks can be easily uploaded through your WJT account either directly from the drop down under your profile image (avatar) or from your personalized dashboard. Once you choose to add a new listing you will be able to choose to add an eBook from the different listings. The upload process will allow you to add a PDF version of your eBook as well as a cover image. After you submit your eBook, it will be approved shortly by the WJT team and visible to all users.

What does WJT do with my personal information?

The only personal information we collect is your name and email address as you enter it into the registration form. This information allows us to keep track of your correspondence with us and tells us if you're a regular user, or a service or content partner. We do not share your email address or name with anyone.

My organization provides kosher travel tours or Jewish heritage tours. How can I get published on the WJT website?

Currently, members of our team are the only ones who can add new content to Get Inspired sections such as Kosher Travel, Missions to Israel and Jewish Heritage Tours. If you would like us to add your tour to our website, please email [email protected] and include the name of your tour, a link to the tour's website, and a cover image.

Can I submit my own photos and reviews?

Users are not currently able to submit reviews or their own photos. All photos come directly from service providers.

My city does not appear on this website, but has a lot of Jewish heritage sites. How can I get my city on the WJT website?

Curating an entire city is usually done through the city's municipality or in partnership with one of the city's Jewish organizations. If you work for an organization that is interested in helping us collect some of the city's Jewish services, please reach out to us at [email protected]

What is the difference between a Cultural Day and a Cultural Event?

Cultural Days are specific days on a calendar that would be celebrated in a general way like holidays, national celebrations, etc. Cultural Events refer to events. These may be related to specific days. For example, Hanukkah and International Gefilte Fish Day would be Cultural Days, and Berlin's Gefilte Fish Festival would be a Cultural Event.

How can I get involved?

There are several ways to get involved with World Jewish Travel. As a traveler, you can use the WJT website to plan your next trip by discovering exciting Jewish culture around the world. If you are a travel blogger or have published Jewish travel eBooks, you can add these to our website by becoming and content partner. You can also add Jewish restaurants, hotels, sites, events, tours, and guides which users will see when planning trips to your city. What fees are involved with using the platform?

As a nonprofit, we do not charge for registration or even for becoming a content or service partner. You can add as many items as you like to the website without limitation. If you want to boost an item for increased publicity, we do ask for a small donation.

What do I use my dashboard for?

Your dashboard is where you manage services and content you have uploaded. You can see how many people have clicked on and viewed each item, edit your items, and even boost your items for increased publicity. Essentially, your dashboard allows you to manage your own business and keep track of analytics.

World Jewish Travel was thrilled at #IMTM 2024 to present a copy of the WJT Jewish Silk Road Pressbook to the CEO of the Azerbaijan National Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid and Jamilya Talibzade its Israeli representative Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).

The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.
